You know you want to. The comma. You love it. You hate it. You abuse it. You protect it. You pet it, and call it George. You hate the people who abuse it, or you love them, or you are one, or you both are one AND hate the abuse because you don't just have issues, you have subscriptions.
There's just so much to hate about commas, or their overuse, or the lack thereof, or standard usage--of the kind which would make your English teacher proud.
You know you think about it, ALLADATIME--how people use them, how they don't, how they fail to, and how those who spot the failures bring them to the attention of the abusers, and why everyone can't just live in peace with the squirmy little depressed apostrophe.
C'mon! You know it looks like sperm. You've got to have an opinion. Unite yourself with the rest of fandom in the one true fandom emotion. No matter how you feel about the comma, its users and abusers, the time is now.
HATRED, it's what's for fandom.
Just let it fly. IP logging is ON. Egos are for exclamation point addicts. Let's do this. |
